Player Waiver, Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability

1. Assumption of Risk

We understand that pickleball is a physical sport and involves risks of injury. These may include, but are not limited to, slips, falls, collisions, muscle strains, sprains, bruises, and injuries related to paddles, balls, nets, or other equipment.

We voluntarily choose to participate and accept the risks associated with playing pickleball.

2. Health and Physical Condition

We confirm that we are physically capable of participating in pickleball activities. We understand that we are responsible for knowing our own physical limitations and stopping play if we experience pain, dizziness, difficulty breathing, or any other concerning symptoms.

3. Personal Belongings

We understand that we are responsible for our personal belongings and equipment while inside the facility. Riverside Pickleball Court is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items, except where liability is imposed by applicable law.

4. Compliance with Rules

We agree to follow all court rules, safety guidelines, and reasonable instructions given by Riverside Pickleball Court staff.

We understand that unsafe, abusive, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior may result in the player being asked to leave the facility, subject to the applicable refund policy.

5. Responsibility for Damage

We agree to use the court, equipment, and other facilities properly. We may be held responsible for damage caused by our intentional or negligent acts, subject to applicable law.

6. Release of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we release and hold harmless Riverside Pickleball Court, its owners, management, employees, staff, and authorized representatives from claims arising from our participation in pickleball activities, except for liability that cannot legally be waived.

7. Emergencies

In case of an emergency, we authorize the facility staff to seek reasonable first aid or emergency assistance on our behalf. We understand that any medical or emergency expenses incurred will be our responsibility.

8. Acknowledgment

We have read, understood, and agree to the Player Waiver, Assumption of Risk, and Release of Liability. We understand the risks of playing pickleball and agree to follow all Riverside Pickleball Court rules and safety guidelines.
